Dr. Michelle Meiser

 

Background and Education

Dr. Michelle grew up in Waterford Wisconsin and is still a Packer Backer. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She moved to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating in 2001. In 2003, she completed the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.

She and her husband live in Maple Grove with their boys, Jameson and Bennett, and their dogs, Daisy and Luna. The Meiser family enjoys traveling, sports and time at the cabin year round. Dr. Michelle is also involved with Wishes and More, an organization that helps kids with life threatening/terminal illnesses. She also runs her own non-profit, Run Out CP, INC—an organization that helps raise money for organizations that help children with cerebral palsy.

 

Additional Training

Dr. Michelle is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Michelle is credentialed at Children’s Hospitals and clinics of Minnesota, Laser Certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and CPR/PALS Certified. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Practice Philosophy

Dr. Michelle credits Dr. Jerry Oksiuta for sparking her early interest in pediatric dentistry. She believes going to the dentist should be a fun experience. She also believes in making a connection with the kids on their level, involving them in their home care and helping them find the tools they need to create a lifetime of good oral health
