Dr. Angela Rubenzer
Background and Education
Dr. Angie earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She has practiced in both private practice and public health settings.
Dr. Angie grew up in southwestern Minnesota and now calls the Twin Cities home. She lives in Woodbury with her husband, her two children and two feline fur babies. When she is not in the office or juggling her kids social calendars, she is usually at the lake, reading, listening to podcasts, or gardening.
Additional Training
Dr. Angie is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is credentialed at Region’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Practice Philosophy
Dr. Angie believes in creating a welcoming and fun environment where children feel safe and empowered to take care of their oral health and parents have the tools to support their child’s dental health at home. By using gentle techniques, clear communication, and a bit of humor, she aims to ease dental anxieties and build trust with her young patients. Her goal is to help children grow into confident adults who value and maintain their oral health for life.
I was nervous about the "unknowns" of tongue tie, and why breastfeeding was so painful for me. Dr. Darcy and her amazing staff are warm, welcoming and professional from the start! I felt comfortable and informed the whole time.

Riverdale KiddsMy toddler actually likes going to the dentist! I don't know if it's the way they talk to him, how the office is sooo kid friendly (movies, horse saddle, etc), or the fact he knows he gets a brand new toothbrush and toy to pick himself!
