Dr. Adam Sperl
Background and Education
Dr. Adam Sperl grew up in St. Cloud, MN, where his interest in dentistry started from an early age. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN and went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with high distinction.
Following dental school, Dr. Adam practiced general dentistry in the Twin Cities, gaining a broad understanding of oral health care. He then returned to the University of Minnesota to complete his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, where he also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry. His research on maxillary expansion treatment is published in a leading international orthodontic journal. Dr. Adam and his wife, Steph, live in Deephaven with their twins, Will and Maddie, and golden retriever, Ollie. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, home improvement projects, and playing guitar.
Additional Training
Dr. Adam is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction which signifies the highest level of clinical skill and knowledge in orthodontics. He currently serves on the board of the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists and maintains active membership in the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Adam regularly participates in continuing education and enjoys attending national orthodontic conferences.

With years of experience in orthodontics, Dr. Adam has had the privilege of transforming thousands of smiles. I was nervous about the "unknowns" of tongue tie, and why breastfeeding was so painful for me. Dr. Darcy and her amazing staff are warm, welcoming and professional from the start! I felt comfortable and informed the whole time.

Riverdale KiddsMy toddler actually likes going to the dentist! I don't know if it's the way they talk to him, how the office is sooo kid friendly (movies, horse saddle, etc), or the fact he knows he gets a brand new toothbrush and toy to pick himself!
